My only complaint was that the biscuits were obviously made early and just kept under a warmer light. Aside from that, everything else was good. Service, cleanliness, atmosphere 👌
I get off at 12am and was nearly in tears hangry after a long shift. Decided I’d try my luck and drive 20 minutes to mama Lou’s. First delight, there’s a separate smoking section but the building doesn’t smell of smoke. In fact I could smell something nice cooking outside. Second delight is our server Lily. Not just her but her keeping up with our table and lovely conversational skills. Third delight, an honest recommendation of food and omg. When I tell yall it tasted just like my mamas cooking. Or something my Mimi would make. It felt like a home cooked meal cause it is. And finally after deciding on spaghetti instead of fish. Lily still brought me out a piece to try. I love the food and the calm homey vibe so much I picked up an application too! 100% TRY THIS PLACE!!! 🖤🖤🖤 PS: about the bathrooms. If you take the time to politely ask they will tell you there’s a sewer pipe issue and it is technically the cities pipes. They are trying to get it fixed but it is a huge huge process that involves tearing up a lot of the restaurant. It is something they are aware of and are trying to work on
Absolutely LOVE this place! Everything they have on their menu is delicious!! Very clean tables and very clean bathrooms! You can tell they put a lot of love into their cooking and it is always super hot and fresh!! Don’t hesitate to try this amazing restaurant!! Ask for Ashley or robin or Lucas! They have exceptional customer service and are very sweet! They go above and beyond!! All around amazing place!! We have had both breakfast and dinner!! Neither one ever disappoints!! Me and a friend needed a bite to eat, not fast food but something local. We came in around midnight. I'd say we definitely found a good local spot, I tell ya the older lady that sat us was very friendly, welcoming. The atmosphere might seem dated to some, but I like places with some history 😊. I ordered The fried chicken dinner, with okra and a baked potato. My friend ordered the 3 eggs anyway, with some biscuits and gravy. The sides were decent, but I have to say that was the best fried chicken I've ever had 🤌 the breading was seasoned lovely and crispy, hot, it comes with a wing, drumstick, breast and thigh. I'm going to be thinking about this chicken for a long time.
Anna our server was amazing! We had a large party and she managed to keep track of all of our orders. The food was very good, and affordable. Recommended. Thumbs up 👍🏻
This place totally gives the old style diner vibes. The staff is awesome, especially Anna, she's so warm and friendly; she took great care of us. The only turn off is the signs at the doors. I understand the need to limit wifi usage to only paying customers and that ordering coffee does not mean a person gets hours of free wifi. The notices should look and sound professional (they resemble a handwritten rant). Other than the doorway "warnings" this place is awesome. If you're looking for southern comfort food, this is the place.
Great diner food. Service was good. Not too busy though. Not too expensive. Good cheaper options and breakfast staples. I had the chicken fried steak. Could have been better but this isn't a scratch kitchen. Wife had 1x1. Easy but she liked it. Will go again to try others.

Awesome experience this morning. Scott and Brenda always professional and friendly. The morning Chef and kitchen staff know their way around a kitchen. Make sure to stop by for a GREAT morning/afternoon meal.
Great place, I love everyone there, no one knew what a fried egg was but they tried to cater to us regardless with an attentive attitude and service. Food was yummy and fresh, good portions, pancakes were fantastic because they felt so handmade. 24hrs is a blessing Also heard one of the coworkers basically training the server on different procedures that made us feel secure! Idk who she was but she was working the night shift talking about how she's always on call bc she's 6 minutes away, y'all be nice to her bc she's committed to the job fr
